The small town of Wesselburen is about 3 km away and can also be reached by bus from Schülp. Here you will find shops, doctors, a pharmacy, an outdoor pool, restaurants, and a train station. By car, you can reach the Eider Barrage and the swimming area at Wesselburenerkoog in just a few minutes. Büsum and Tönning are about 15 minutes away, while Sankt Peter-Ording and Friedrichstadt are each about 20 minutes by car. Hamburg or the Baltic Sea can be reached in about 1.5 hours.
